Dhaka, 27 MAY 1998 - A 34 year old man here, who miracously survived three accidents in a row, involving a lorry, a car and the ambulance, all in one day, has finally met his match - a small piece of fishball. The unidentified man, known only as Kupurama, choked to death during lunch while celebrating India's successful nuclear tests yesterday.

In March, Kupurama was on his motorcycle when he got knocked down by a huge lorry. Although seriously hurt, Kupurama managed to flag down a car to bring him to the hospital. On the way, the car itself met an accident as it crashed into a 5-meter ditch at 120 kph. Kupurama survived the second accident and was sprawled in the drain for 30 minutes before being lifted into the ambulance. Unfortunately, the ambulance itself, due to technical malfunctions, smashed into a divider and got ripped apart. All 4 medical personals did not survive, while Kupurama got flung out 10 metres away during the impact. The still conscious Kupurama even managed to make a phone call to inform the authorities.

However, Kupurama's nine lives were finally snuffed out by a fishball incident. After hearing the news that India has successfully conducted its fifth nuclear blast yesterday, Kupurama popped a fishball into his mouth but somehow got chocked.
