Kuala Lumpur, 7 MAY 1998 - Rock fans of KoRn, Metallica, Megadeth, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, Bon Jovi, Sepultura, Scorpions and Guns n Roses take note - all nine rock heavyweights have confirmed their participation in the Pil Chi Kit Teck Aun Mega Rock Show in Malaysia this August. The news was revealed here by Mr. Gunasekarang, organizing director of Pil Chi Kit Teck Aun Sdn. Bhd., who made the event possible.

Mr. Gunasekarang confirmed that the Government had given the green lights for the concert after members of all nine bands promised to abide to the local guidelines which include no long hair, no ear-rings, no skimpy outfits, no vulgarity, no screaming and no heavy songs.

"No problem...I'm getting my hair cut at a local barber in KL, it's a lot cheaper I heard! My account's getting real dry nowadays eversince GNR went AWOL ... that's why we have reunited for this Mega Rock concert." GNR singer Axl Rose commented.

However, due to lack of funds, the concert is not going to be held anywhere near the Shah Alam Stadium, or even in Klang Valley for that matter. Instead, the organizers have chosen the balai rakyat of Kampung Haji Taib as the concert venue.

Tickets will be priced at a standard RM2.95 and can be bought at any outlet or 'kedai runcit' selling Pil Chi Kit Teck Aun.
